Practice months and ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with this card matching game. Contains 24 cards (12 ordinal cards and 12 month cards) How to play 1: 1. Put all the cards face down on the table. Students take turns trying to match the ordinal card to the month card. For example, 'I am the 1st month' and 'I am January' How to play 2: 1. Give each student one card. 2. Students walk around and make a pair. Both students read their card. If they match - 'I am the 10th month' + 'I am October' then sit down. 3. If students don't match, find a new partner and try again. 4. When all students are sitting, check by calling 'Who is the first month?' and so on.
