Roll the dice and introduce something you can do in Japan.
A challenging pair work or group activity to see who can introduce the most things you can do in Japan.
You will need a dice.
How to use:
1. Give 1 worksheet to a pair or group of students. Decide order of play.
2. Students take turns rolling the dice. The number corresponds to something students should introduce about Japan.
1 = you can eat (sushi, takoyaki).
2 = you can see (Tokyo Tower, bonsai).
3 = you can enjoy (Children's Day, kendama).
4 = you can try (sumo, onsen)
5 = you can go to (Tokyo, a castle)
6 = students think of their thing to introduce about Japan.
Note: many of the pictures on the worksheet can be said for different activities. For example, sushi - eat, try, enjoy. If you want to make the activity challenging you can make a rule that students can only use each Japanese item ONCE.
3. Students can get 1 point for each thing they successfully introduce.
You can even play as a whole class activity, by splitting the class into 2 teams.
