A card matching game for the prepositions - on, in, under and next to. Contains 15 picture cards and 15 sentence cards. How to play: Style 1: 1. Put students in groups and have them shuffle the cards around the table. Students race to match the picture with the appropriate sentence card. Style 2: 1. Give students either a picture card or a sentence card. The goal is to find the student with the matching card. 2. Make a pair and read what is on the card. Do not show the cards to each other. For the student with the picture card they will need to be able to say the grammar pattern without having any words to read 'The _____ is (on/in/under/next to) the _______.' 3. If both cards match then the students should sit down together. If they don't match, the students should find a new classmate to talk to until. 4. The game ends when all students have found their matching partner.
