A game to practice talking about changes that happen over time - before and after = past tense and present tense. How to play: 1. Separate cards into 2 types - before (green) and after (yellow). Then turn cards over and shuffle, but keep cards separate. 2. Decide order of play. The player turns over a before card and says 'It was ____.' then turn over an after card and say 'It is _____.' If the 2 cards make a matching pair then the player keeps those cards. 3. Continue taking turns and saying the English until all cards are taken. The player with the most pairs is the winner.
