Where are the family members in the house?
This activity requires cutting and gluing to make the house.
How to make:
1. Cut the family members and glue them onto the squares on the 'House Inside' page. The family can be glued in any square
2. Cut the house from the 'House Outside' page.
3. Cut each window so that it can open and close. Cut only top, bottom and left line.
4. Glue the house onto the 'House Inside' page so that each family member can be seen when the window is opened.
5. Cut the names of each room and glue onto the different windows of the house. They can be glued anywhere
6. Students can color and decorate the house.
How to play:
1. Students will carry their house and 'Where is my family? Game' worksheet.
2. Make a pair and play janken. Winner writes their partner's name on the worksheet and asks their partner 'Where is my (mother)?'
3. The partner looks at the house and tries to guess where that family member is. '(She) is in the (bedroom).' If correct write O on the worksheet, if not write X.
4. How many questions can they get correct out of 6?
